First Novel featuring Private Eye Elvis Cole
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a very exciting novel with almost nonstop action. It is Robert Crais' first novel featuring Elvis Cole as an L.A. private investigator. Cole stars out trying to find a missing husband and son and gets involved in drugs and crime families. I had read a few other Elvis Cole novels, so I wanted to read the first one. Robert Crais is great even in his first book. Cole's partner Joe Pike is also in this novel and he is a character you don't want to miss. This book is a very easy read, not long, -- and I didn't want to put it down.
