4 of 4 found this helpful I am building a light pack, and this is the basis for the cooking part. The capacity allows enough hot water for more than one hot drink, or a drink and a Mountain House or Ramen noodles. The bail lets one suspend it over a fire with a stick in case there is no good place to set it, and also allows getting it off the fire if the handles are too hot. Internet advice said to take the bail off, squeeze it, and put it back on to make the lid stay on better. I didn't need to do this, but I can see the point of it if you have lid problems down the line. Notice that the handles are bare, which is what you want. Fancy handles with rubber or plastic on them will have a melt down if your fire gets a little too feisty. Finally, the larger size allows you to put a bunch of stuff inside it for compact transport in the nice mesh carry bag. The only thing wrong with this pot is the high price.

Good Woods Coffee Deserves A Good Cup
I like to spoil myself with a good coffee cup. This little folder is not that, but that is not its purpose. This cup is for a very minimalist light weight kit, so it is not fancy but just barely does the job I would have given it 5 stars except I thought it was a little pricey for what you get. I suppose I am paying for the engineering, which is the trick to this little thing.

Nalgene Quality
Most flasks are 4 to 6 oz. so if you want to carry enough tequila to give you a 12 oz. hangover, then this is your flask. While waiting for the party invitation I will probably use this as an extra/emergency water supply as I don't like to ever use up all of my water. Not sure yet what the extra vessel that the flask is in is for, but it does give the flask double protection against breakage in case you fall off a cliff.
