Great Toilet Seat for Elderly
I never thought I'd rave about a toilet seat but this product made our lives so much easier. After losing my father, my elderly mother recently moved in with us. About 50 percent of the time, she wasn't able to get off the toilet without assistance after a visit to the bathroom (and there are a LOT of visits). I'd purchased other types of products over the years for her to use at their house but she didn't like any of them and they eventually ended up being put aside. The Bemis 7YE85310ARM Clean Shield 3 Inch Elongated Raised Toilet Seat with Arms did the trick. It is totally secure and just the right height for her to use getting up. It's very easy to clean. My husband likes that it lifts like a regular seat when he needs to use the toilet (unlike some products that just rest on top).
Although this is more expensive than other products on the market, I can't recommend it enough. Luckily, I was able to find one at a reduced price on eBay.

Awesome Pole for Birdhouses
I am so impressed with the quality of this pole. My husband and I had finches build a nest in the wreath on our front door this spring. It was so awesome to be able to look through the glass and watch the eggs and then the babies as they developed. However, we didn't want them to continue to build nests in our wreaths. Therefore, we bought some birdhouses and some of these poles. They were extremely easy to put together and get into the ground. A little bit of a problem getting them in without leaning but they're pretty straight. The finches have already moved in and seem very happy.
