Awesome widescreen viewing
I was quite surprised how very sharp and clear this Blu-Ray played considering it was taken from a film shot in 1959 in Cinemascope. The beads of sweat on Charlton Hestons face were so very sharp and the colors were so very vibrant. This is a must replacement over the older DVD version if you have an HD TV with a Blu-Ray player. The soundtrack played very well on my Dolby DTS 5.1 Surround Sound System.
