Defective

I purchased two of these - one for upstairs one for downstairs -- the oval plastic ring that is supposed to hold the plastic trash bag did not fit -- no matter how much you moved it around it was NOT the shape is should have been -- The real lid is off balance also -- it just doesn't sit right -- I would have returned them both but I had thrown away the boxes --
