Sylvania Silverstar Ultra (9008 - H13) headlamp bulbs
Provides 20%+ higher visibility than OEM specified headlamp bulbs. Color is slightly cooler (less yellow) than original bulbs. Quick installation (less than 1 minute per bulb).

Great Clarity, Great Price
I bought this unit to replace an existing name brand unit that clouded up.
The thru-door barrel requires a 5/8" hole instead of the more common 1/2" hole. The benefit is that the larger opening allows for easier viewing in lower light levels, and important feature when attempting to see whats on the other side of the door at night or in poorly lit hallway.
Images are sharp throughout the 180 degree view.
The peep door is a bit stiff to swing at first and I bent the grip tab at a 20 degree angle to facilitate easier swing control.
1-3"+ eye distance from rear of peep provides good viewing (you don't have to almost touch the rear of the peep with your eye like many 1/2" units for a good view). The wide viewing distance latitude is convenient for people who wear glasses.
This unit is built as well as much more expensive name-brand units.

Excellent Quality
This is an excellent buy for a bicycle headlight. Rechargeable battery pack recharges fully in less than three hours. Low beam setting very sufficient for illuminating path or roadway and will operate for 5+ hours. Mid beam setting will clearly illuminate 50 yards ahead and operate for 3+ hours. The high beam will illuminate 100 yards ahead...brighter than most new car high beams and operate 1.5 hours+ continuously. By holding the selector button more than 3 seconds activates the 2-flash per second high beam strobe function. When the battery is depleted, and the shortly aftrr the last of three battery status indicator leds turns off, the light will completely shut off....not dimming as the battery depletes. I have bought a half dozen of these lights for my bikes and for friends. Install the battery pack on the seat down tube and secure everything with zip ties. Easy to install. Everyone is impressed.
