Powermatic 1 + Cigarette hand injector
1 of 1 found this helpful Truly the best hand injector "RYO" machine out there. But a word of caution...Be sure to get the Powermatic 1+ NOT the older Powermatic 1. On the newer 1+ model changes have been made to the lever assembly and they have eliminated the problematic "pinion gear" which was know to fail. The newer 1+ model is effortless to use, makes perfect cigarettes (with a little practice once getting over the learning curve) and is a cut above all other "crank style" (Top-O_Matic) type machines. If you are looking for the best hand RYO machine, this is it.

Work well, high quality, well designed, good value
Exactly as described, high quality and attention to detail. Installed in my 2008 Volvo V70 to avoid removing factory seat cover to replace burnt out factory pad.
Installed in less than 5 minutes. The size and design are such that they fit on seat and lay back area of seat between the bolstering on the seat so they are hardly noticeable. Color is very close to Volvo blue/black factory color. Heat well and stay in place for the most part. Just a few minor negatives: Cord from pad to controller could be 8 - 10 inches longer to make placing it on center console to make it easier to see and use, material is nice and of good quality but if it was a bit more shiny it would make it easier to slide in and out of the seat ( plastic a bit to grippy) Does not reach highest stated temperature of 65 degrees F (149F) only gets to 53C (127F) Takes a bit longer than stated to get there, about 10 minutes. Overall very pleased they are attractive, unobtrusive, of high quality and function well and a good value. Highly recommended.

DeLonghi actually a rebadged Kenwood

DeLonghi has purchased Kenwood Ltd. (Kenwood has been around in Europe for over 30 years) and began selling Kenwood under the DeLonghi brand. Now DeLonghi has stopped selling stand mixers in the US, they are still sold world over as Kenwood. They are far better than Kitchenaid. No plastic gear box housings or plastic gears, they are belt driven, powerful motors, excellent mixing and performance, heavy duty machines. When properly treated, and not exceeding their rated capacity, they will last almost forever with no trouble or repairs needed. I do know, bought my first Kenwood KM210 in 1989 and it still works perfectly.
