Spectrum remote was not designed intelligently. All the buttons together and there aren't too many of them. You cannot control more than one thing at a time like your TV. You then have to switch by clicking on cable to switch channels then you have to click on auxiliary to bring the volume up or down etc. It's just crazy. If it wasn't so much cheaper than DIRECTV I would've stuck with DirecTV.
