About
In my paintings I experience a way of self-expression that gives me great pleasure, but also a sense of peace within myself. A feeling of joy that is not boastful but born by an inner Light where what ever I express on the canvas is accepted as mine.

Dawg Music
If you have ever heard the DGQ in concert you will reconized most of these tunes. This recording is a good example of early Dawg music.

Makes Great Coffee
This is the first coffee maker I have ever owned that wasn't the cheapest one I could find and it is well worth the extra money. The Cuisinart DCC 1200 ease of operation and quality make it a pleasure to brew the great tasting coffee it produces.

BRUCE AT HIS BEST
1 of 3 found this helpful Bruce Molsky presents an in depth explanation of Old-Time fiddle music. He stresses the importance of learning each phrase one at a time; similarly, the melodies and rhythm of each bow stroke are broken down one at a time.
How? 1. By introducing the bowing patterns of great fiddlers like Edden Hammons and T.J. Farrell 2. Alternate tunings (DDAD,GDAD,AEAE,ADAD, and my favorite AEAC#) 3.Stressing the importance of ear training (learning short phrases of music by ear) and much more.
Old-Time fiddlers must be able to “feel” the music (since most have no lyrics) by exhibiting a musical style which demonstrates a true understanding of the background and circumstances that produced each tune. Bruce says, “Seeking that level of understanding has become my life’s work.” This DVD is outstanding… passing on Bruce’s joy in making music to the viewer.
