A fun viewing experience with Spike's one of a kind musical arrangements.
There are a few Spike Jones DVD available for sale, but this one contains some songs and sketches not seen in other sets, especially Spike's slightly toned down excerpts from his television show.. The quality of writing varies from skit to skit, but overall, this is a very enjoyable viewing experience. Billy Barty was amazing, as are the rest of the Slickers. Clean and corny humor with some of the jazziest arrangements of foot tapping music you will ever hear!

Laugh along with a talking skull, wooden actors and barely competent space aliens.
An intentional cheapie made to satirize low-end ridiculous Sci-Fi films of the 1950's. Characters are appropriately wooden and the skeleton is a scream (and the best part of the flick). It drags a bit in the middle as it got too talky. I was hoping for some shots of the crew, or a microphone or a boom mic shadow appearing - but it was not to be. Makes for fun viewing and some good laughs.

Get this CD. You won't regret it it.
You'll find yourself singing along with the car windows down! This CD brings back the memories of the movie that I saw when in High School and spawned a revival of interest in music that was romantic and fun. The best soundtrack of a film ever. And the Wolfman Jack bits capture the feel that the movie projects.
