Amana/Whirlpool ice maker
Since my original ice maker only lasted 4 years, so I saw no reason to purchase one from Amana. This ice maker was a third of the cost and so far is working perfectly. It's not identical but was easy to install. The ice tray is plastic and the original one was aluminum. I like the plastic better. The cubes are slightly larger and seem to remain whole, where the original ones were commonly broken. There's a "knock out" plug that wouldn't knock out where the water enters. I had to cut it out. I felt like I was going to break something if I forced it. You'll need to use your old wire harness as this unit doesn't come with one. The instructions say to allow up to 24 hours to make ice. Mine was dumping ice in 3 hours. I would give it 5 stars but I've only had it 3 weeks. It would need to prove itself over time to earn that fifth star.

A nice temperature gun.
Pro's... It's small and light. Laser guided. Uses inexpensive batteries. Illuminated screen.
Con's... Can't find where I put it. Haha. Seriously... The operator's Manual is not so good. Mostly symbols and not much print to explain them. If I didn't own one previously, I would consider it very confusing.

A good 5.25" speaker.
I purchased these to build a small homemade boom box with a 20 watt amp. They sound great for their size. I'm very pleased. Remember...They're small, so don't expect large amounts of bass. But in that size range they're as good as any I've heard, and excellent for the price.
