Folding Steel Skillet
Just what I needed to keep in my truck kit for frying on my portable one burner Coleman stove while hunting and fishing in the back woods of MN. Sturdy, heavy duty steel, and could be used directly on a campfire. The handle is hollow, so you can whittle a stick to use as a handle extention. I had to burnish it on the outside under the handle as the rivet ends were poorly ground, but that would not affect the performance of the skillet. That is why I gave it four stars instead of five It took well to seasoning and it is now shiny black and relatively rust resistant. I would buy it again...

This is a big knife!
This is a big full-tang knife well suited for camp or kitchen. The fit and finish of the 'Old Hickory' branded hardwood handle with brass rivets was very good for a knife in this price range. The forge marked carbon steel blade was straight and sharp, and it has the Ontario logo roll stamped on the side. Perfect for slicing large cuts of meat, watermelon or, if you're like me, flipping burgers or rolling sausages on the grill. Made in the USA.

The 'buckmark' means quality
In my opinion, everything I have ever bought that had the buckmark on it was a great value. This tool is no different.
The tool is a full tang 'T' with a total length of about 5 7/8, and width of the handle is 3 1/2 inches X 1/2 thick. The hard plastic (G10) scales are held in place by 4 small black screws. The blade is 3 7/8 long. All blade edges are slightly rounded except for the inner hook and the saw. The saw is very sharp and cuts on the push stroke. The hook works well. I have no way to precisely measure the blade thickness, but it starts at about 1/8th" at the top, and tapers to 1/16th" at the tip. The buckmark is laser cut through the blade. It is very good design by Russ Komer.
The sheath carries the buckmark and Browning name and is of good quality black ballistic nylon with a secure Velcro flap and a 2" belt loop on the back. The whole unit is lightweight and lays well in my pack. Not big enough to dress out a water buffalo (OK, I never tried that) but a perfect size for the Minnesota white tails I hunt.
