Reliable performance at reasonable prices
I've implemented these in a few different use scenarios (Synology / Drobo / Dell NAS, server raids, desktop raids) and the price / performance ratio on these is great. Since 6/8 TB drives are available, these have come down in price where an 8-15 bay NAS or 2-8 bay desktop / server storage setup gives you reliability, performance and capacity for ~$130-150 per drive. Have read reviews of others who have had DOA issues with WD Reds, but I've bought and installed about 3 dozen of these over the last 2 years (from Newegg, eBay, Amazon, etc) and have had precisely 0 issues. For file / backup storage, Plex Media server (or other DLNA setup), or surveillance data storage, these have worked in everything I've tried, and comparatively to WD drives of the 2000's has really renewed my faith in WD products. I look forward to eventually replacing these with 8TB+ drives in the coming years!

Good quality and versatility for the $$
This was a $10 when I purchased it, and I have close to the maximum belt size when this is worn over my regular belt. You can use this belt by itself if you have 2.5-3" loops, but this is much better suited as a duty belt worn on top of clothing. Paddle-style holsters that have belt retention work fine, as well as pouches that have velcro or button snaps. Can take some abuse, though not as durable as more expensive models. Also, belt strap does NOT come completely off the plastic buckles, so you won't be able to slide on gear lacking snaps or velcro unless it will slide over the buckles themselves. Adjustment clasps cab be a bit of a pain at first, but they work ok; if you have a smaller waist size ( 34") you may need to adjust clasp tightness to ensure the teeth stay where they're supposed to if you have a lot of gear on this belt.
