These work great in my DL385 G5p.G6 servers!

CPU's be EZ
These were very easy to install. The server detected them right away, and I was up and running in just a few minutes.

Excellent replacement for failed OEM component.
I was able to update the all the FIRMWAREs and ROMs to bring the board fully up to date so that it would support E5 Xeon V2 processors.
Start with the HP IVP 1.80 update
Update the iLO firmware incrementally to 2.79 (makes updating the system rom easier)
Then update the SystemROM incrementally to version 2019.05.24 (entitlement required)
Then update he Intelligent Provisioning to version 1.74 (server 2016 latest supported OS).
If you want to install server 2019, use IP to deploy 2016 first, then do an in-place upgrade wo 2019.
