Buy It!!!

Despised Icon has never failed to impress. I really love this record. This is no ordinary deathcore record that's why I decided to purchase this one even though i'm not a huge fan of the genre. Sick breakdowns done right, Fast, Brutal, Death Metal riffs were incredibly done right as well and killer solos on a few tracks. The dual vocals of the two are still pretty amazing. The awesome hardcore screaming of Alex Erian and the brutal guttural vocals of Steve Marois. The drumming Alex Pelletier is even more killer than their previous effort. This album does not only focus on one genre like some other deathcore album does. Some deathcore bands play more death metal than hardcore and some play more hardcore than death metal. This record is 50/50 = 50% part death metal 50% part hardcore. This record is a major example of how a deathcore album should sound like. When it comes to technicality and brutality Despised Icon is one those bands who will bring it to you. I definitely recommend this to any fan of just about anything brutal.

Swedeath Metal

This band went from the name A Canorous Quintet to The Plague then This Ending right before getting signed by Metal Blade records. It's Swedish Death Metal so I'm assuming you already know THIS IS GOOD. The production is excellent. Fast, Melodic everything you expect from a Swedish Metal band. This their debut album I love it already. If you love Amon Amarth then grab this one, it's worth the price.
