    Flawless high quality performance
A most excellent German-built interface. Some of the best A/D, D/A converters around. Super clean, uncolored Mic preamps. Very quiet signal paths. Most importantly: The unit itself operates silently, I have it in a rack right in front of me. Rear connections are all TRS/Balanced. I used it as a Firewire 400 unit till I picked up a Firewire 800 cable. Worked flawlessly either way. Highly recommended! http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_fireface_800.php

Blazing speed and expandability for a great price.
A most excellent Machine. Early 2008 Model, but very affordable for blazing speed. 8-core processor (2 Quads). 4 quick-release SATA drive bays. Maxed out at 32gb RAM. Brand new model Mac Pros are faster, but not a lot. Great for the money and amazingly expandable. If you're installing a wifi card, have a pro do it at a shop. (frustrating HP-built card and wires) This machine will easily run the highest speed video card from the brand new Mac Pro. A marvelous upgrade.

    Mac Mini. Fine Machine
Highly usable, upgradeable computer. Core 2 Duo processor. A lotta punch for the money. Here's the real word on RAM. This earlier model Mac Mini is listed as 2MB max RAM. You can reach 3.3MB before the chipset is actually maxed out. Confused? OK, (2) 2MB RAM chips = 4MB. The chipset reads 4MB, but can only access 3.3MB. Biggest bang for the buck is to install a 2MB chip and a 1MB chip. Not expensive. The machine runs great on Snow Leopard, OS 10.6.7. Runs iLife 11 and iWorks, no problem.
