1 of 1 found this helpful Point 1, the phone was most definitely not new. There is a small dark area on the screen and the charger is not an original Apple product. Point 2, I was not able to set up an Apple ID on it as it had been used to set up too many new ID's in the past. Then I found that I could not activate FaceTime or iMessenger. After 48 hours going round in circles I rang Apple support and found out that as the phone had been reported as sending spam messages too many times Apple had put a block on it! Luckily they were prepared to remove the block and I could, eventually, set up FaceTime. All in all, quite a frustrating experience.
