In this case, the auction had to be cancelled because ebay quoted shipping that was literally hundreds of dollars less than reality! The seller actually paid for the shipping and informed me it was so expensive. I told him to go back and get his money back and we would just call it an unfortunate learning experience. There was no way I was letting the seller eat the shipping difference! ebay needs to be better at calculating large/heavy items!
