Secondhand MS pen or compatible? MS, thanks.

The pen is great to use and has the magnetic attachment feature, (which is useful even on my non-magnetic older surface), because I can leave it securely on the steel body of my electric piano, or other nearby ferrous item and not have it falling onto the floor and being in danger of being crushed, like the non-MS compatible pens. Don't get me wrong... at the full price new, I wouldn't bother, but I would definitely recommend a good used MS pen at a similar, or slightly higher price. They are well made and hide their age really well. If it works at the point of purchase, it will probably outlast other compatible pens - and the device you are using it on.

Cheap, but is it Worth it?

There are two major problems with this mouse and one positive. Firstly, it's cheap and better to use than a pound shop mouse. The minor problem is that the LEDs shine so much light out of the device that it catches your eye and at certain angles it blinds you. It's not the red LED that is used for the mouse movement detection, it's the blue LED that is used purely for styling reasons. It is a very poor judgement, but could be overlooked, considering the price. The big problem is that the mouse periodically malfunctions. It confuses single clicks, with double clicks and confuses left and right mouse buttons. Will this continue and will it become worse in the future? I would recommend spending a little more and getting a better and more reliable mouse that will last.

Cheap, But Poor Quality

The tail light is rubbish. It's dim and has a flimsy bracket. When you have put that in the bin, you can turn your attention to the headlight(s). They are a pair of small cree torches and there are two big problems. Firstly, even when the brackets are fully tightened, they do not secure the torch body and it rattles loose. A side issue is that having to routinely over tighten the grips does not bode well for their longevity. They are made of cheap and brittle plastic. The second fundamental design flaw is that to adjust the "zoom" involves pushing the lens in or pulling it out. With such a poor grip on the body of the torch, it often pops out, while you are riding and drops to the ground. One possible solution is to put some tape or extra stuffing between the torch and the holder. I'm not going to bother, because it will just make them a pain to get on and off, if you leave the bike parked outside. Overall then, a useless rear light and cheap, but poor quality headlight design. Only buy this if you want a pair of reasonable small torches. I'd recommend spending a little more, to get a better model.
