Scooter battery full of corrosion and dead when I bought it when it got to my house

Yeah , I wish this was a good review but sorry to say it's not. When I got the battery open the box I had corrosion all over the negative and positive. Besides all over the studs there is corrosion and when I stuck it on my charger it was completely dead for a whole day. It took 24 hours to charge and when my battery my motorcycle right now goes dead. It charges within a couple hours so either you sold me a bad battery which I haven't put it in to try yet but it says it's charged now. I'm going to try it but when I got it it was fully corroded on the studs. Negative and positive and it was completely dead so I'm sorry to say I can't give you a good review on this one
