Not for heavy use
1 of 1 found this helpful The product was well boxed and presented however, the leather in more specific areas ( where dice and chips are stored) were not glued properly and I can this box wearing out very quickly and maintenance work will need to done on it regularly to keep in good condition and last.
if you are after a good quality board, I would not suggest this product as its expensive and you will be left unsatisfied after a few months when the leather starts to peel off. even to an inexperienced board player you would notice this.
I bought 2 backgammon sets which set me back $1000 and now, Ii should've have bought one first to see how the quality was. an expensive lesson learnt.
Overall, this board is ok and normally i would say you get what you pay but not this instance. I wouldn't recommend this as a professional player with heavy use, its more an expensive show piece kept from an handling from people.
