Worked fine - can take a few second to start working correctly when connected up. Used with iPhone 13 Pro and older iPad Air. The adapter gets a little warm in use. Although the iPhone was able to charge whilst using the adapter the iPad was not - but not an issue in my case.

Appears to be genuine Apple part & works...

Appears to be genuine Apple part & works fine with earplugs / headphones... What I wanted it for is to feed a mic input from a sound desk to the phone - and as phone power may be an issue for this use I've bought another lead with a lightening input as well as the headphone output. I've given 5* though I probably bought the wrong product & that's my fault :) it will remain with my kit of cables!
