Great press BUT Poor Design and UNSAFE
11 of 11 found this helpful This is a great press work wise. The press is very top heavy so when you swing it out to the side, it wants to tip over. It has suction cup feet that don’t grab the surface unless you try to move it. Even tried pushing the cup feet down and it grabs at first but it gradually releases and no longer holds the press to the table. My daughter was using it today and it fell off of the dining room table and it broke the press handle off and it’s very hot to try and pick up. It’s a natural reaction to try and grab the press which can result in severe burns. I had to put two 2 foot 2x2’s in place of the suction cup feet to sturdy the press. Next will be fixing the handle so the press can be pushed down. So if you purchase this press, MOUNT IT to a permanent table. You will not be able to transport it unless you come up with a base to make it portable and SAFE and STURDY.
