Great release of a less than perfect 1988 horror movie
1 of 1 found this helpful Scream Factory pulls out another sweet upgrade to Blu-ray with 1988's Stan Winston directed "Pumpkinhead".
Great extra features including original cast and crew member interviews and behind-the- scenes footage. Subtitles. Transfer on this Blu-ray looks sharp even in the shadowy scenes (75% of the movie lol) with even grain and noticeable detail.
Not a five star film, it does drag, but the presentation warrants an overall 4 stars by Scream Factory.

Amazing set
I was fortunate enough to snag the rare region 1 Deluxe Edition of TMCOG back in 2011 and it remains one of my most loved boxed sets in my collection.
These DVDs offer top notch video and Audio playback. Even the animated menu screens are immersive.
Highly Recommended.

Grand Garba'ge
All in all, this set is quite nice. Packaging-wise, this boxed set looks nice on the shelf and the insides are emblazoned with original promo art.
The films themselves vary in content, from epic to ridiculous. Collectors and film buffs know what to expect with Empire Pictures, and this set includes many of the better films from the defunct studio.
Many of these discs are repackaged Scream Factory releases. Keep this in mind before plunging in.
