How the blower worked for me
This blower was a little shorter than the original that came with my gas log fireplace. I wondered if it would have the power I needed. I used the magnets from the original blower on the new unit that mount it to the back wall of the fireplace securly and the attached them in the holes provined on the back of the blower and they worked perfectly. I used the original heat activated power switch from the original as a new one did not come with this blower. The unit fit perfectly and installed easily. The blower comes on when the heat switch heats up and blower performs admirably. The room heats up very well, just like the old fan. I am very satisfied and bought a second new blower just to have on hand. These things never quit working at a good time. Dust and dirt are the main problems. I always mean to vacuum out the fan more often but don't always remember.

Garage door opener drive gear
This gear was just what I needed. The old gear was reduced to a pile of white dust inside the garage door control box. If that's what your gear looks like, it's worn out and in need of a replacement. You can learn how on youtube. It's an easy job and will save you quite a bit by doing it yourself. I've seen repairmen not even want to repair this problem and want to take out the old opener and replace the whole thing. The rest of the opener is fine,. Even the work gear is probably just fine. No grease came with this gear. That's my only beef. I had some white Lithium grease and used it. That should be fine. Put the metal plate back on the top of the control box the same way it came off. If you don't, the gear cover won't fit back on. It's the plate with 3 screws.
