Excellent camera with beneficial features and fine day and night pictures
This is my 3rd Browning camera, and I still have my first purchased from 3 years ago. I also have a couple of other brands. The BCT5 is loaded with very useful and beneficial features, and you can get all the specs from a variety of sales and on-line resources, so I will only review what I have direct experience with. I am a deer hunter and outdoor photographer hobbyist, and have the benefit of typical Maryland wildlife (deer, fox, raccoon, etc.) frequently in my backyard woodlot, less than 75 feet from my backdoor, so regularly monitoring wildlife and testing trail cams before I use them in the field is very easy.
First things first - this is a feature-rich, dependable and durable trail camera that takes excellent daytime and very good night time pictures, and handles transitional light settings extremely well. If you take a few minutes to review the owners manual, determining the settings that work best for your applications and programming it is very easy. Any questions about wildlife - their habits and possible existence of trophies can easily be handled using the BCT5.
Compared to other manufacturers I have purchased, this stands out on a few fronts. Basic external features: It has a very small profile on a tree, and the design pattern is an effective camo. The latch for the door has improved over previous models. The strap is very easy to deal with and provides plenty of length for the biggest tree.
Functional features: from my particular perspective, the most important feature is 16X9 aspect ratio is not only for video, which of course is standard for HD 1080 or 720, but also applies to photos. This is extremely beneficial when you consider how important it is to document as wide a field as possible in relation to the cameras motion detection range and flash coverage, both of which on this camera are excellent. The half-second trigger speed and recovery time of under 2 seconds have been consistent. The settings for video clip lengths and photo sequences (multi-shot bursts and general intervals between shots) are quite agile, and I have tested a few of these settings to great success. As agile as these setting are, other manufacturers have the more preferred feature of completely manual setting instead of the fixed 5, 10, 20, and 30 seconds and 1, 3, 5, 10 30 and 60 minutes. Based on how frequently you can access the camera for changing the card and batteries, this is either relevant or not.
Battery life is very robust. The 6-AA battery compartment, which is a slide-out tray is easy to access and change. Improvements in power efficiency allow this camera to perform very similar to my 8-battery models.
There is very little that I don't like about this camera. The price point is very reasonable for the features. The most important attributes of any trail camera, motion axis and range, flash, trigger speed and battery life all perform very well. I highly recommend it, and this recommendation is mine alone, with no affiliation with the manufacturer or any other influence after direct, comprehensive use.

Excellent light stand for the price
These light stands are surprisingly durable, and constructed of a lightweight alloy that makes them ideal for hobby photographers and for use with work lights for DIYers. I don't know how they would hold up at heavy use, but for typical intermittent use, I would certainly recommend them.

Excellent, trimmer
I have used a few of these trimmers for both typical grass trimming and edging and also the attachments including the chain saw and hedge trimmer. In regards to starting, probably the most important concern for anyone using these devices, as long as you follow the specific instructions in regards to choke setting and number of primer pumps and string pulls, you should be pleased with the starting performance. The pull start feels almost too easy to pull, but it is engaging with each pull even if the resistance almost feels that it is not. The speed-start function is really helpful for starting the unit cold. This particular unit was easy to start right out of the box. It is obviously tuned to the required settings for easy start, smooth idling and strong full-speed running.
The 4-cycle engine is convenient for those who prefer not to mix gas & oil. The oil level window is an added benefit for quick, easy filing and monitoring.
The engine performance is comparable to 2-cycle, although the weight of the unit might not work for all.
As a re-furbished item, the trimmer arrived in excellent condition, with the engine clean and was well-packaged.
I would definitely purchase again and recommend this unit without reservation.
