    Disc in like new condition and plays fine. Good story. The digital code also worked which was an added plus! I will say that the digital code would not work with Fandango, but did work with the Movies Anywhere site. Great value for the price.

West Side Story (Blu-ray/DVD, 2011, 3-Disc Set, 50th Anniversary Edition)

I am not fond of musicals, but ...
I'm not into musicals at all - especially when there's dancing, which removes any sense of reality! This movie is an amalgamation of film and stage, with a story strongly based on Romeo & Juliet; the names and setting have changed, but the story remains the same. Well, after 50-years of avoiding it I finally decided to buy it and give it a watch - and I have to admit I enjoyed it much more than expected. Casting is good and the performances are wonderful. So what was it that made me want to look at this movie after all this time? It was about the music and the story; I am a fan of Romeo & Juliet and I've always liked the long version of the West Side Story Suite written by Leonard Bernstein and performed by the Buddy Rich Big Band, and many of the songs (and arrangements) that came out of the stage play ("Maria", "Tonight", and "Somewhere" to name a few). Let's just say I put up with the stage dancing in favor of the story and music. I very much enjoyed this movie and I'm looking forward to see Steven Spielberg's take on it!

Good accurate finder for 24/25mm lenses
Some reviewers have stated this finder has an 82% mag. and therefore represents a view closer to that of a 28mm view. This is complete nonsense. The finder indeed has an 82% magnification, but its framelines accurately reflect that of a 24mm view. A standard Leica M6 or MP finder has a mag. of .72 - but those framelines are still reasonably accurate. A 1:1 view would mean the finder would physically need to be much larger in order to represent a 24mm angle of view. The finder is metal, but the base is plastic. It's still robust and mounts securely to my Leica M10's hotshoe. The view is nice and bright and compares favorably to any of my Leica, Zeiss, or Voigtlander finders.
