2 of 2 found this helpful My home is large and difficult to cover with a single WiFi router. I had been using a number of separate access points, but our equipment would lose connectivity if it decided to switch between one access point and another - with the Mesh VELOP, those transfers are seamless - AND we can plug equipment into the nodes directly, so we have cameras, for example that use Ethernet connections which are virtually connected to the recorder.
Because this is the tri-band version, there is no contention between the user traffic and the data backhaul, making the system that much faster.
And, we have no more dead spots.
