Price Change?
I made this purchase and less than a month later Buyer made a major price jump. No longer a good value!.

Aged extremely well for a ten year old laptop that is used daily!
I bought a Satellite 5105-S607 new in 2002 because of the LCD Touchpad, first discrete GeForce GUI (32 MB) and excellent Harmon/Kardon discrete sound system with woofer . Upgraded to 1GB max memory, 250 GB ATA HD, DVD/CD R/W, WiFi 802.1 b,g,n. Most of these laptops have a heat problem with Video processor/memory but I added a program to keep the CPU fan running (fan.exe for Toshiba). It is almost an antique but I keep it around. Found a good price on another that was like new so transferred all my upgrades to the newer one. Also, the DC connecter is screwed to the case and has a pigtail to an easy connector (no replacement problem as with almost all DC connectors on laptops today that are soldered directly to the motherboard.
