The title is perfect for the content.
One of Stephen King's longest novels, but his best in my opinion and I have read and own most of his works, The size of the tome seems daunting until one actually begins to read and you suddenly realize it is impossible to put down.
The characters come alive and you find yourself caring what happens to some and wanting harm to befall others.
This book is gripping until the final page.

A must read for anyone travelling by air.
Frequent fliers may not want to read this volume as some of the descriptions are quite graphic.
I ordered this volume because I study engineering disasters. This book does not disappoint. It is quite an in-depth study of aviation disasters, why they happen and what was done to correct the problem.
I like the background information and history of some commercial airlines. I was a little disappointed with the author's focus on himself in some chapters, however I understand why these chapters were written in the first person, to provide clarity.
I believe this book overshadows many written in the same genre especially if the reader wants technical information.
