Enjoyed from Top to Bottom! Hilarious! Acting & Writing Spot On!
This season of Absolutely Fabulous sees the series maturing, and in fact, many of the episodes are darker. Of course, there is still the lighthearted craziness, lewdness and non PC jokes, quirks and scenarios that viewers have come to expect. The writing is still great, though some repetitive character moments see the beginnings of staleness. The dynamics of Saunders and Lumley and crew is still spot on. I was thrilled to review and will watch these episodes again, as all the in series, probably more than most episodics.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch-- A Great Film, Funny and Entertaining!
A comedy spoof classic, I love Gremlins 2: The New Batch. I remember seeing this flick when it first came out in theaters. I highly recommend to any lovers of horror, comedy, and all around weirdness. Gremlins 2: The New Batch takes Gizmo and company to the Big Apple where they invade a multi-million dollar building and wreak havoc on the general public. Not a horror angle, as the first Gremlins movie, the creators decided to go into a more comedic direction with this film. Brilliant as the writers were able to do more with the characters and monsters than ever imagined, I thought this took the franchise to new heights. Enjoyable for the whole family, children and all, you probably won't have to worry about your kids not being able to sleep after seeing this film--though they may be inclined to mischief as influenced by the rambunctious gremlins through and through.

One of the Best Animated Super Hero Comedies Ever!
The Tick animated series will always be one of my favorite Saturday morning cartoon shows. I purchased this DVD collection to relive the series in all its glory (and because I no longer own a VHS with which I recorded all the episodes over ten years ago!) The Tick vs. Season One includes twelve of the thirteen original episodes. The episode "Tick vs. the Mole Man" is not included; I've read this was due to 'creative considerations' probably because of the character Mindy Moleford-- a spoof of Cindy Crawford, but that is a bit of speculation. Either way, you can still enjoy the other twelve episodes of this classic comedy series based off the 1980's New England Comics flagship comic book hero. I often find, while some of the quips and jokes can come off obnoxious or obvious, the series is well written with hi-brow humor and much of the characters and circumstance allusions to either classic literature or parodies of other comic lore. Highly entertaining for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend!
