Hi-fi quality without the obnoxious pricetag
1 of 1 found this helpful Outside of crazy high-end or pro studio monitors, these are the best desktop speakers I've ever heard. They are definitely the best 2.1 computer speakers in the price range. I pretty much stole mine at $50, but see them below $100 regularly. I've paid double that for systems that didn't sound as good as this one.
If you direct the port properly, the subwoofer generates powerful, CLEAN bass and the crossover is set sanely. No junky rumble like you get from lesser systems with the crossover set too high to accentuate the wrong kind of bass. Vocals and high frequencies are brilliant and clear. Higher frequency bass is present and clear, and like I said isn't muddied by the sub unless you really crank the subwoofer knob.
These speakers can be turned up VERY loud without distortion or crackling. For me, they have replaced a full Yamaha stereo receiver setup driving bookshelf speakers and a home-theater sub. This has reduced my power consumption and setup complexity, with no sacrifice in sound quality or power. This product does the Klipsch name proud.
Oh yeah, they're also bluetooth. Syncing is painless and signal quality is good. I didn't seek out this feature but it wound up being a neat bonus.

Great pocket camera
2 of 2 found this helpful Image quality is great, lens is great. I bought this to replace my Lumix GF1. The GF1 still takes better photos most of the time, I think due to the LX7's smaller sensor and overall consumer-grade build. But image quality is still very good and all of the extra conveniences make the trade-off worth it.
It's smaller than the GF1, and much easier to tote around. It hangs easily from a wrist-strap, the GF1 (and other larger cameras) end up always being around your neck.
The optional after-market automatic lenscap is brilliant and you would not believe how convenient it is. Truly solved an annoyance. Why pocket your lenscap or have it dangling and getting caught on stuff? If you buy this camera, get the aftermarket lenscap. Trust me on this one.
The optional Electronic Viewfinder is easily twice as good as the one on my GF1. The exposure preview is incredibly useful (my GF1 doesn't have that).
Build quality is pretty good - not as top-quality as the GF1 but still plenty solid enough.
