0 of 1 found this helpful Not sure why anyone would cut the bottom out--its washable. I've kept these until they are on their last legs. My dogs are able to tip them over but they only have a bed and blanket in there and only do it on occasion. They have chewed holes in the mesh, which I have just sewn up again and kept going. When it's too far gone, I buy another one. For the price, it gets me far enough. I even had to switch out lids from one to another after they chewed one up. Works great for small dogs, young dogs, healing after surgery. Both of our dogs just run right in to each of their pens and settle down each night. Great for keeping animals apart but social as necessary.

Reliable quality and awesome deal
Great price for filters (ours are sometimes hard to find). We buy this package once a year. Excellent deal and great quality.
