Well Made Unit With Nice Features

I received this turntable exactly as described, well packaged and on schedule. Hooking it up was mostly simple with instructions that could have been a little more detailed. It comes with “Quick Start” instructions and the full manual can be found online. The features I was looking for were: fully manual (less to break down), direct drive (no more belt replacements) and digital recording via USB capability (haven’t tested the USB yet). The stylus target light comes in handy if you have the turntable somewhere not well lit. It comes with all the cables required to complete installation. The RCA cable for hooking up with my receiver/tuner was too short (4 feet) for my application so I needed to purchase a longer one. The only real negative is that the felt platter mat sticks to and comes off when you remove a record from the turntable. Probably static electricity. I will try some double sided tape or replace it with a cork or rubber platter mat. Everything operates as it should and it really does sound noticeably better than the turntable it replaced. I would recommend this turntable to anyone looking for the features that this one offers.

Samsung UN58RU7100 Very Poor Viewing Angles

This TV is easy to set up and easy to use. The remote handles all functions pretty well. The picture image quality is good, however you need to be sitting right in the center of the screen. If you stand up or lay on the floor or move a foot left or right the color begins to wash out. In other words there’s zero viewing angle. You can only watch with best picture quality from directly dead center. If you watch TV alone all the time and your seat is dead center, you’ll enjoy a good picture. If other people want to watch with you, they’ll need to sit on your lap to view a quality image. If they sit a foot or so on either side of you, they will notice some wash out of the color. Other than that unfortunate issue, this TV would be fine.

Zagg Keyboard Folio For iPad 9.7” Great With One Issue

I love these Zagg keyboard folios. They are very protective for the iPad and turn it into a mini laptop computer. A fully charged folio will not need to be recharged for a year or more. The keyboard works perfectly without bounce or double strikes while being large enough for any size fingers. Keys are responsive to the touch with good feedback. The only issue with this folio is that it’s possible for the hinge to give out and crack preventing it from working correctly after about a year depending on how much usage it receives. My first one did that. This is my second one. The prices are low now so I also bought 2 spares for down the road. That’s how much I love these Zagg folios.
