better than the old analog Mercury switches
The sellar answered my question quickly. The unit arrived in good shape on time and is new. It was easy to install, the little holes where you poke the wires are getting smaller all the time so that requires some needle-nose pliers to stuff them in there. The color coding helped. It works fine.

a little finicky
You have to fiddle with positioning the phone on top of the pad, esp. if you have a thick case on the phone like I do. I have an otterbox on my galaxy S4. But it is a lot easier than plugging in the charger, and no risk of ruining the charging port like sometimes happens.

great
Humidity level seems to be very consistent with my home central air unit. I bought two of these units and they are always within 1 or 2% of each other. However I've had difficulty switching it off of centigrade to fahrenheit as the instructions are rather opaque. It is helpful for my algebra as I'm having to use the old formula to convert.
