Great Kit, repair was worth the effort!
My 06 Tundra speaker was buzzing, but did not have any surround sections missing. The split was beneath the hard plastic ring and was not visible until I pressed forward on the surround.
As with most repairs, prep and removing the old material is key. Take your time and ensure you have a sharp blade. The video instructions were excellent. I attached the new surround slightly different and it seemed to actually be easier than the video. I attached the surround to the frame first, slid it behind the cone, and then used the adhesive to attach it to the back of the cone. I applied that adhesive by pulling the cone edge forward and applying the adhesive to the surround.
The adhesive is perfect, able to flow as needed, able to stay where applied, and very strong.
Repair works very well and I would recommend to anyone.

Works great on stainless
3 of 3 found this helpful I had a custom exhaust project where I needed to expand tubing for slip connections at both 2 1/4" and 3" pipe diameters. The exhaust was thick-walled German tubing. My cheap stretcher did not even touch it. This tool was capable of expanding the tubing using a modest air compressor and impact gun.
The tool is very well made, even more impressive than expected. Lubricating the dies helps, I did not need to use heat at all.
A quick suggestion is to insert the tool into the pipe and expand in increments, rather than the entire 2 to 3" connection length at once. It was easier and quicker with my limited impact gun.

Works good but understand how your mirror secures
I was adding an auto-dimming homelink mirror to our Jetta.
It was a Gentex style mirror, on which the base secures with a set screw.
The mirror set screw is directly over the gap where the adapter set screw tightens against the VW post.
I fabricated a piece of plastic with a hole for the adapter set screw, to fill the gap and allowed the mirror base screw to be tightened.
The adapter is well made and is quite secure.
