Flawless functionality
2 of 2 found this helpful After putting up with a manual opener long past its service life (lots of mangled cans!), I recently purchased this one, and I only wish I had done it sooner.
Perfect alignment with the can ridge, easy gearing, and sharp, deep disc all contribute to flawless functionality. The reason for four stars instead of five is because of the thin vinyl grips as I had become accustomed to a thick, plush grip on my prior opener, this despite its inability to open cans.
All in all, I'm very pleased with this product and I recommend it highly.

Perfect Replacement for my ES8066!
My Panasonic ES8066 is now almost 15 years old and still working good - that is, until the batteries gave out. These are an exact replacement, and during testing, I was literally shocked at how powerful! I had long forgotten what my shaver was like when new, but these batteries reminded me. The only reason I provided four instead of five stars is because I don't yet have data on their durability or longevity. But thus far, I am extremely pleased.

No more dain bramage!
I was always concerned about the health effects of using toxic solvents for cleaning firearms, and the pungent smell forced me to sequester my cleaning activities from all traffic areas of the house; my home office was unusable for a while after a range session. Then I discovered Frog Lube.
Not just non-toxic, it has a pleasant wintergreen scent and it is food-grade! True, one must take care at the initial application (break the firearm down into individual components, treat each one with heat and Frog Lube, and carefully remove all residue), but once this is completed, cleaning after usage is enjoyable. The Frog Lube Solvent appears to be some form of mild soap or detergent, and when used in combination with Frog Lube treatment, all deposits and residues come off with a wipe. Sure, there are some parts that accumulate more carbon than others, and for those you'll need a firm plastic bristle tooth brush, but for everything else, just a rag or patch will do.
From my experience, when properly applied the Frog Lube treatment lasts about a year, so I set up my calendar for an annual re-treatment. And in between, my firearms are self-lubricating with Frog Lube. As a disclaimer, I have accepted no money or other remuneration from anyone for writing this review. It's just that after several years of using Frog Lube, I am still amazed and pleased at its performance.
