Great Mozart from London and Cleveland!
Excellent performances from London and Cleveland. They don’t come much better than these, although Karl Bohm/Vienna Philharmonic (DG) are also excellent and I wouldn’t be without them, either!

Cool, laid back French conception and f a French composer
Boulez’s Sony 3 CD Ravel orchestral works, divided between the New York Philharmonic and the Cleveland Orchestra is excellent in a cool, low key, French way, yet performed with American orchestras. Sony’s recording job is excellent, if a bit low level. Highly recommended!

Marriner’s excellent Handel Anthems
Neville Marriner is an excellent conductor of Handel, using modern instruments with chamber orchestra textures, and he keeps tempos moving where needed. Philips provides excellent recorded sound.
