That's tech progress for you.
When these arrived and appeared to be quite a bit smaller than the units I was replacing I worried that they were somehow inadequate compared to what had been wired into the power supply of my Samsung DLP TV. But after reassurance that it simply represented tech progress made in the last 8 years or so, I wired them in and the unit now works fine.

Replaced that troublesome AMD GPU and it's back working like new.
Nervous nelly here kept asking questions which he was more than happy to answer. Waited anxiously to see if the repair would bring my MacBook Pro A1286 back to life. All I had to do was reinstall the motherboard and voila, up the computer sprang, back from the dead. Cannot tell you how please I am with this repair.
