This item is for use by SimpliSafe Security Systems. If you are buying used I recommend replacing the batteries unless you are aware of how much use the existing batteries have had. Battery power allows the unit to be installed anywhere. The use of lithium batteries allows for better operation outdoors.

The Holmes Warm Mist Humidifier
The Holmes Warm Mist Humidifier is a cost-effective humidifier with a stylish look. We first purchased this unit in a local Sears store. The initial set-up was fairly straight forward. After unpacking the unit, you decide where to place the unit. You will want to place the unit on the floor or a table where convenient to an electrical outlet. If you are to place the unit on a wood floor then you will need to place a rubber mat or small rug under it to protect the wood. After setting in place, fill the 1 gallon tank with cold water and set the tank back on the unit. Switch the unit on and in about 20 seconds you will begin to enjoy the benefits of warm water vapor. We appreciated the ease in setting-up the unit, the low cost of the unit, and the benefits generated by this unit so much that we ordered two (2) more units through eBay for use in other rooms in our home. No filters to change. Just lift the water tank off the unit using the built-in handle and fill with cold water. Reset the tank on the unit and turn on. The unit is quiet and has a nice look to it. One of the benefits we immediately noticed while using this unit is that it gives our room a warm, snug feeling, almost like an invisible blanket. I can't imagine that fancier units with build in humidity gauges that cost a lot more do a better job. Perhaps the only addition I might like to see is a compartment that one could use to dispense Vicks Vapor Rub (for those with colds) along with the warm mist. Just a thought.

Easy, inexpensive blue tooth addition to Microsoft based computers.
I purchased this product because my computer did not have blue tooth capabilities. It works well and allows me to run all of my blue tooth devices. Installation was easy.
