Excellent replacement for a poorly designed part.
For some reason this part is not shown in Genie parts lists and several searches ended with no results. After reading several reviews of Genie products I discovered one reviewer that found this replacement part. This kit will permanently fix the problem that Genie created with their plastic sprocket. A tip when replacing: Kit includes 2 nuts and bolts to replace rivets. I did not drill out the rivets. Instead I removed the belt guard and pried the two parts apart just enough to slip the old sprocket out and install the new one. Then I simply squeezed the metal parts together and reinstalled the belt guard with its 4 screws. Also, kit does not include new bushings so you will need to reuse the old ones)

Excellent replacement to the original ramrod.
Genuine Thompson Center ramrod. I have 2 T/C Renegade .54 muzzleloaders. One flintlock and one cap and ball. This rod is better than the original hickory rod that came with my gun. I splintered one many years ago and got a stronger replacement but it is a plastic-impregnated hickory rod that T/C offered at the time. I like this coated fiberglass rod, which will last many years. If you can still find one of these I highly recommend getting it.
