Great controller from the past for little money.

Despite its venerable age, the controller is still capable of providing a good level of performance and reliability. Supporting hard drives up to 12TB with firmware 5.3.0 is just superb.

Definitely worth the price.

Currently one of the most inexpensive 10-core processors on which you can build a productive workstation or mid-range server. In my case, it works on a Chinese motherboard plexhd turbo x79 and 64GB of memory as a server running esxi. Definitely worth the price.
