Actually pretty good.
1 of 1 found this helpful I was surprised to find that these are exactly as advertised. So many bargain items are not.
They are definitely bone, I could smell it when filing. Quality appears to be good, and they have the right balance of durability and workability for a proper setup. Would definitely buy again, for this guitar or another.

Not perfect, but also not bad.
2 of 2 found this helpful Fret crowning files should have safe (smooth) edges, and this file doesn't quite. There aren't any teeth placed on the edge deliberately, but the ones that creep in from the curved area aren't polished out, either. Thus, you'll want to tape your fingerboard before using this file, although it didn't even mar the masking tape when I used it.
The flat sides have no abrasive surface of any sort, so you will need another file for the first step of fret leveling.
The two curved sides appear to be exactly the same. I thought one might be more steeply curved, or contain a finer rasp, but this does not appear to be the case.
Within these limitations though, it does the job it was made to do, and reasonably quickly. That's a lot more than I can say for a lot of other bargain tools. This is a decent but not great tool at a really good price, so if you just want a tool to work on your own guitars occasionally, this will fit the bill.

Works fine in a Dell Inspiron 1525
Works fine in a machine whose spec only calls for 667 MHz DDR2 (as you would expect, underclocking is usually fine).
