Great Limo Model
1 of 1 found this helpful I've given this model 5 stars because of its detail and accuracy at this price point. This is often true of many of the Greenlight 1/43 models. They are priced much below other brands, yet offer the kind of accuracy and detail of the premium brands that you'll pay double or triple for. That said, don't expect all the body trim to be actually "chromed" like the premium brands, and don't expect a clear acrylic showcase, but you'll still be getting a lot for your money.
This model is actually more representative of the Kennedy Lincoln after it was revised for added safety for use by President Johnson. But it's still the same car. It is also incorrectly identified as a 1961 car. It is actually a '62, as anyone who knows what the front of a '61 Lincoln looks like, will tell you. The first few months that Kennedy was in office they were still using the '41 Lincoln Continental of FDR, Truman, and Eisenhower.
I would highly recommend this model for any Lincoln, Limousine, or Presidential auto collection. However it IS delicate, with its flags, mirrors, spotlights, and other small parts, which is why I didn't rate it as being "Durable."

Only game in town
This is for all intents and purposes a nice little inexpensive model, but it definitely comes off as being a bit cheesy and cheap looking in a top quality 1:43 collection. It's a bit of a shame since the first ever Crown Victoria was one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. Other Yat Ming/Road Signature models of mine manage to look pretty good next to the more costly models in my collection. I wish this one did too, but it's the only 1:43 '55 Crown Vic available at the moment, so I try to enjoy it for what it is.

Perfectly gorgeous model
If you collect Volvos, or even if you collect models just because the model manufacturer has created a model so perfect and beautiful you have to own it, this one is a must for your collection. Even though I already had the WhiteBox Estate Wagon version of this car, I still had to have this one, which was too nice to pass up. The scale and proportions are perfect, the detailing is perfect, and the finish is top notch. Interior detailing is exquisite. All the chrome is actually "real," and not just silver paint. I love these old Volvos, and you can't do any better than this model.
