Great introduction to the Little House stories, for young children.
It's a great book for very young children, introducing them to the content of the stories in Laura Ingalls Wilder's books. The chapters are short and the pictures engaging. My granddaughter who initially did not want to have it read to her because she likes imaginary figures, asked me to read more of it the next time I read. It does not really have the "feel" of the original stories, but serves to introduce the characters, the sentiment, and a sweetly historical perspective. I'd buy it again.
