The Walking Dead

Several people had recommended to me that I watch The Walking Dead. I really didn't think it sounded like something I would be interested in, and kept avoiding it. Zombies, Really?? I finally gave in, and I have to say, I was very surprised. The writers have a very special way of getting you interested and involved with all of the main characters so that you can't wait to see what is next. I ended up getting Netflix just so that I could watch all of the seasons available. Clever writing, engaging characters, and very addicting. You can't wait to see what's next and see how all the main characters find ways to survive. I'm so glad I gave this series a chance. LOVE the characters, LOVE the writing, LOVE the suspense! Hope it doesn't end for awhile!

I purchased this for my son in the Air Force and he loved it. I hadn't heard of them until he mentioned them to me. He liked the idea behind them. I purchased a large which said for an average man. However, he said it wouldn't have hurt to have gotten an Xlarge. Since they do stretch some, it worked out OK once he got it over his hand. He is not a big man, tall and thin, so you might want to consider the wrist size before purchasing.

Magic Hour

I loved this book. It was my first Kristin Hannah book and was chosen by one of my reading club groups. It got rave reviews from all of us! I loved the depth of the characters and the author's writing style. A hard book to put down, and you don't want it to end!
