Affordable Power from an Older Platform
1 of 1 found this helpful It seemed to me as if the AM3 socket had shown it's age compared to newer processors since I'd switched to intel a couple years back. If you're willing to shell out a few bucks, this is not true at all. For $90, I got this amazing six core cpu (most of the power which I don't really need). I paired it with my Gigabyte motherboard from a few years ago (which I still love), 12gb of assorted 1600mhz DDR3 RAM, two 1tb WD green HDDS, and a 60gb Patriot Torch SSD to boot from. The benchmarks I get are more than I'll ever need. I put together this rig for gaming at school with a Radeon 7770, while I left my Dell Precision at home (which has a xeon that outperforms this, but is more expensive). I really just wanted to revive my old AM3 board for a decent and fast setup, and that's exactly what I did. This thing would kill a modern i3, and who knows, maybe an i5. But for me, this is plenty and I am happy. Happy buying to all, and to all a good night ❤️

Weezer's best music since... A while ago
I've never given up on Weezer. I've appreciated their filler albums. A good single here, a good single there, decent mall background music... Etc. But this album hit the nail on the head. The feeling I get from listening through this album is one of continuity, one that makes me feel comfortable listening to the entire thing out loud without skipping any songs. This is a wonderful album. And I recommend it to anyone who may possibly like Weezer and more.
