Works as should!

Stationary Switch Replacement
1 of 1 found this helpful Functions as should. This replacement switch is a single molded piece replacement for my original two-piece part. My original part consisted of a large v-shaped plastic base with a metal u-shaped mounting bracket with a single screw mounting it the motor. This replacement was a single v-shaped plastic piece with the u-shaped mounting bracket molded as part of the switch unit itself, making it a single piece replacement instead of a two-piece replacement. Upon receiving it I thought it was the wrong part because it looked much larger than the original part. After a trial fit I was assured it was the right part because it fit perfectly! Works great!! My concern was that I could not find any reference part number and the AO Smith motor company that originally manufactured the motor had been bought by another company (Century Motor Co. I believe) and finding any cross-reference for the correct replacement part was unusually difficult.

POOL TOOL Gets the job done!
It served the purpose I bought it for. Fine debris that passed through my Sta-Rite System 3 double filters collected on the pool bottom below the water return lines at the shallow end of the pool. This manually-powered suction device easily removes the fine debris that the pool sweep would most likely pick up and re-deposit at the shallow end of pool again. Thank you!
