Unpredictably Exciting!
The talent was there, the idea was there - they just didn't quite drive it home. Personally, I feel the writing could have been a bit better - the villains had way too much screen time and there were a few loose ends. BUT, the action was great - the cast really outdid themselves and must have trained hard to give us such grand fight scenes. I expected this drama to be darker and more violent than any previous k-drama I'd watched. It was, yes, but not to the degree that I expected. Certainly not for kids but I don't think Captain America 3 was any lighter than this series.
Ji Chang Wook is such a fantastic actor - he and Yoona are the reason I watched this. I absolutely adored their scenes together but wish there had been more. I have read some negative reviews about Yoona's acting but I totally disagree with them. I've seen at least 4 of her dramas and I love what she brings to each character. This was no easy role to portray and she brought 100% effort to the table and creamed it. She left this viewer convinced of the character's dilemma and caring what happened to her. Overall, if you don't mind a dash of negative content (language, violence/blood, sensuality, wicked schemes), I think you'll enjoy Ji Chang Wook and Yoona's respective journies and an epic climax with some REALLY unexpected turns and surprises. Unpredicably enjoyable!

Excellent Story!!
I've watched DOZENS of Korean dramas and this one is the best. Unique story, a mystery that builds, unpredictable twists, good cinematography, and very fitting actors. I've seen almost all of Lee Jong Suk's dramas and "W" is the best. Don't miss out on this intriguing adventure about a man who discovers he's a comic book character!!

Legendary Work!!
I can't believe I originally gave up on this show and condemned it as boring. It is now one of my favorites! The lead characters have such great chemistry, they are vastly amusing, the story builds to a very exciting climax, and all the side characters are engaging as well. Some of the best cinematography, great filming, beautiful costumes, and a good script! All around well made series.
