Powerful, cheap, dead silent
5 of 5 found this helpful Overclocked it on the stock cooler, dead quiet no joke. I got it up to 3.75 Ghz at 1.35 volts, some others can get to 4 Ghz. I paired it with a gigabyte gtx 1060 3gb and it runs everything on ultra, no bottleneck. Its a steal for $140. The stock cooler is smaller than the 1500x and 1600 but it has a bigger fan and remains at 60C under load without making a sound.
Excellent choice instead of Intel, huge upgrade from FX series.
